1. Are employees required to contribute to the CPF?
All Singaporeans or SPR holders employees are required to submit CPF contributions. The CPF rates are accessible through this link.
2. Are employees entitled to sick leaves and hospitalization leaves?
All employees under a Contract of Service will be entitled to sick leave, or otherwise known as
medical leave (MC), as well as the hospitalization leave (HL).
Employees are only allowed to apply for MC and HL after 3 months of service, or otherwise according to the agreement between them and their employers.

3. Are employees allowed to annual leaves, and when can they apply for it?
All employees under a Contract of Service will be entitled to annual leave, which they are only allowed to apply for after 3 months of service, or otherwise according to the agreement between them and their employers.
The minimum annual leave entitlement a company has to offer is 7 days per year
4. What is the policy on overtime and its compensation?
Overtime will be counted after an employee has worked for more than 44 hours per week. The overtime is calculated by multiplying employees' basic salary by 1,5.
Employees can only work for up to 72 hours of overtime a month, and any more beyond that will be exempted.
Overtime is only applicable for the following employees:

A non-workman earning up to $2,600.

A workman earning up to $4,500.
5. How can employees claim employee benefits?
To claim employee benefits, employees will need to follow processes and procedures outlined by their employers, and submit the required documents and requests to the HR Department or supervisor depending on the nature of the benefit.
Employers should provide employees with the information of any benefits they are entitled to as well as the necessary claiming procedures.
